i just came back from altera (just opposite motorola where i work). i went there to picked up my jaw which dropped — after oggling at those hot chicks… man, now i understand where'd all the hot chicks ended up at — altera. if got pics, i'll post them here.

altera is an MNC (multi-national company) company where my friends liew sze chuen and khor gim see worked (we used to be colleagues during the 90's). altera is organizing their own altera idol and liew has suggested to the organizing committee about me. they need someone who is fluent in music to judge their contestants. i was called by lay hoon and she basically asked me to judge and i agreed. and MAN, i made a good move. eventhough i'm not that qualified as a professional musician, i'm a rocker mah… rocker only go up stage and do funny things and come down… kakaka

today, i went in there and lost my jaw… saliva drooling… metal sow should have followed me to altera today… kakaka… he missed the fun. today, they are presenting batch 1, tomoro, there's batch 2. i'm all well excited. there's 2 girls who can sing really well. classically trained in vocal. the rest is average. one guy sang “tell laura i love her” — with lots of passion and feel. eventhough his voice is pitchy but it's still fun.

and the other 2 judges were hot too… i should wear singlet instead. one is miss pang, then other is miss esther. both are musicians. i met miss pang and the first question from her was “are you playing in the jazz festival?” — i nearly hide my face, sipek paisay… i dont know anything about jazz. kakaka… i wanna tell her “jazz? honda's mini CRV kah?”

and esther reminded me of karen sun when uglymen was in taiwan 2003. she resembles someone like below: (she is the one standing on the right, on the left is a chiko-pek)
