already 5 years with one kid. kakaka… so fast. the year was 2000, date: 11-NOV. all the adat-istiadat (tea drinking ceremony) was held in the morning… fetching the bride with my best man, alex tan (ex-bassist) with dozen of cars and all my friends from penang and alor setar were behind. very cool memories indeed. bringing the bribe back was a challenge with a few tests. one of them was identying the kiss marks on a piece of tissue paper… bwahahaha… i got it all wrong… kakaka…
nevertheless, brought the bribe back and we were about to have lunch with all those dishes on the table… but but but… my mom forgot to cook rice… sigh… have to wait…. but my friends were cool. they sat and curse *#$@&^*&#$^*&^#
the night wedding dinner kicked off with powerpoint presentation (duh!) with “sweet child o’ mine” as the background music. quite fun. all band members and ex-members were there except for ah leong and ah lai. initially, we booked over 100+ tables at sentosa hotel. in the end, 88 tables were “opened” cause the date was auspicious with many wedding dinners took place and a few guests couldn’t make it.
after the dinner, we were supposed to get a deluxe room to “khooi pang” (open bedroom) 
but when we went up to the room, i opened and saw someone sleeping there… *#@$*$&% someone extended his stay at the room and the hotel manager forgot to arrange our room. and me and my newly wed wife had to go back and sleep in my parents room… bwahahahahaha…
