In my post last month about “My Experience With The Telcos”, I have already mentioned that the worst Telcos are TM Touch and Celcom, now seems that Digi wanted to jump on that wagon too…

If you are not a Digi postpaid user, let me tell you this, there is a Bonus Point system in all your monthly bills, I am not sure how they calculate the points, but I have accumulated 7,000 + points since March 2005.

And what do you do with the points?

You can either get rebate on your bills or buy new phone:

Something like this:

4,200 points get a deduction of RM450 of your monthly bill
6,400 points get a RM1000 discount for your purchasing of a new hand phone!!

I did receive messages telling me that the point system was going to be re-designed April 2006, since I wanted to accumulate the points as many as i can before i finally make a redemption…

Last week i logged on to www.digi.com.my to fill in my claim… this is the new system:

3,000 points get a deduction of RM120 of your monthly bill
3,000 points get a RM120 discount for your purchase of a new hand phone!!

thumbs down to DIGI…. bad change indeed, you can cut down the redemption value bcos your sales is not as good as Maxis, but changing drastically means your customers also maybe want to say bye bye to you…

Digi already failed to get the 3G licence (which means my Dopod PDA 3G fucntion is a sampah) and now they still downgrade the value of their products…
