really difficult to employ people to work in hospitals esp in IT department cause no one sees any potential in it. well, the good thing is that u get to LEARN everything u want with quite a lot of flexibility.

the pay scale is ok cause i have shared with the finance manager and financial controller that if u want people to work hard and long hours for you in IT esp in a 5 1/2 days environment, u gotta be prepared to pay. if u think u want to pay RM850 or RM1100, u better change your mouse and keyboard yourself. well, they do pay people nicely BUT that also depends on your skills and qualification.

to me, we dont need experience people, we need people who just want to learn fast and absorb the process flow. by the time a person is experience, chances are his/her knowledge may become obsolete esp in IT world. u need to keep abreast with the newer technology coming up monthly.

see what happened to novell netware and mainframe?

whatever it is, just learn both IT and business process in your environment. one day, u may branch out to other areas of work.
