we had our final practise session few nites ago… and it was horrible especially on my side. i just recovered from flu/cough (so, i’m making an excuse here) and have not been practising my drumming for a while. by the way, i’m on medical leave today at home… still sick and watching BEYOND LIVE! 2003 concert while working. my job environment allows me to work from home where i connect my notebook with my colleagues and at times directly to customer sites to carry computer troubleshooting tasks/setup/configuration or just perform some IT housekeeping exercise.
anyway, back to our band; last tuesday, we grouped to have our final jamming practise and it was horrible. of course mike and hooi contributed to about some of the degraded performance
but i had a bad time. so difficult to play the dreaded drums. timing out, hit consistency out… i’ll probably bring my drum machine for the gig in changlun
the show must go on. i just realized that the drums IS difficult to play. even though there’s a few drums and cymbals to hit. and kaijiunn made is looked so F*ing simple to play the drums… kekeke…
i so missed playing the guitar… can’t play it even if i want to cause i have been keeping long nails on both my pinky fingers — they looked so gay.
i can probably play beginner’s stuff like using three fingers on my left hand. for a change, i can med out shaolin soccer song for you guys anytime. by the way, if you are wondering where shaolin soccer comes from, it was originally taken from this song played on a single acoustic guitar.
like shaolin kung fu? download it here: shaolin kung fu GREAT
i try to find some of our live performance of SHAOLIN KUNG FU and post it here. stay tuned!
