we got to know today that we were invited to play at the annual beautiful-junk gig. just now, ah hooi sms me before lunch asking me whether there’s any beautiful-junk organizer contacted me for their upcoming gig on 11-NOVEMBER-2006. i said no. he gave me a number and i called up this guy named terry. he’s a nice and humble guy. they actually got a number from a friend who said that it was one of our phone numbers. i told him that we didn’t receive any sms.
i informed him that we were not able to make it on 11-november-2006 because i will be in alor setar, kedah celebrating full moon. what a waste… sigh… so sad. but the good news is that we got to know another artistic organizer in penang. beautiful junk is a group of creative friends getting together sharing artistics creation of photographing, arts, comics, graphic designs and musical ideas.
we performed at their event last year in dewan sri pinang. there were a bunch of bands from different states. check out the event photos here.

actual full moon is only 30 days which fall on 12-november. i need to do it at my parents and in-law house. one family one day.
