our mental sow went to KL as one of the finals judges together with pop shuvit members ~ JD, Gervernie Kam (the violinist for jacky cheung) and John Thomas (execellent drummer and son of Josie Thomas). as you can read, our mental sow was the smallest peanut judge around. kekeke…

ah hooi sms me yesterday when the competition completed about evening 5pm. and the winner is:

champion: 2 & 4 - fusion band with a powerful female vocalist, a violinist, 2 guitarists, a bassist and a drummer

2nd placed: ah hooi didn’t get the band’s name but they were a punk band.

congrats to the winners.

tomorrow will be the Yamaha Asian Beat Finals - Kedah/Perlis Region. going to be held at Star Walk in alor setar.

looks like there’s a lot of progressive and fusion bands. more towards technical prowess.
