something to share with you guys, unmusic related.
my mom was re-admitted back to alor setar general hospital last thursday. during that day, my dad brought her for a blood test + medical checkup and doctor found her yellowish pigmentation has increased. doctor has suggested to her to be re-admitted. sad but true. i went to see my mom today and she was weak. good thing is that she is not having stuff/needles being poked into her body. she just need to eat, rest and take medicine. my mom is currently weak to walk and exercise. she’s basically slumped on the bed most of the time.
ah hooi, you got no heart and come to see me?
my sister came back today to visit her. ah hooi came to see my mom this morning. my mom said “ah hooi, you got no heart and come to see me?” i was baffled… then i slowly try to understand what my mom said to him. it means “you are still sad and down, why do you take a trouble to come here?“.
then in the afternoon, my dad, sister and myself went to see ah hooi’s mom.
about ah hooi’s mom.
she is still in a coma today (today is one week already from the day she met with the accident). last nite, doctor operated on her left leg. she got a fractured left leg and doctor placed some reinforcement steel to straighten her leg. after the operation, her face swelled again.
doctor has drilled a hole in her throat for her to breathe. according to ah hooi, a machine supplying oxygen was being supplied to her via a tube. she is still tube-fed with milk. there has been some eye movements detected by ah hooi when she felt some pain or cough.
currently, there’s no neuro-surgeon or brain surgeon in alor setar general hospital. hooi’s family may decide to send their mom to penang — to be admitted to a private hospital who has a well known brain surgeon. it’s the hospital where boo boo and myself are currently located.
even though ah hooi’s mom is out from ICU, she is now being warded at HDW (HIGH DEPENDENCY WARD). when my sister and dad went in, they felt eerie as there were many patients with heavy/critical injuries to the head, body, legs and tubes being attached to these patients.
anyway, all the best to both our moms.
