yeah, that's right! i was at ah hooi's mom funeral in alor setar with ah yin and fleaman. then suddenly boo boo called me saying that the production server is down. i was about to talk to ah hooi when i received this urgent call. i was at ah hooi's place for about more than an hour but didn't manage to talk to him because they were holding prayers.
i drove back to my parents house and immediately connected to our customer's server and work on resolving it on the spot. it was a real adrenalin rush and i was a bit pissed off when we found out that the problem was due to a recommendation by an audit firm who was not familiar with our system. simply put: they are trying to be a smart ass and giving us orders to do things they think are correct
. i highly believe these auditors were not guided properly or equipped with any decent experience on working with a production environment. probably relying everything written on paper and push to us to implement. what a dick!
anyway, now it's 10.21pm and we manage to solve the problem. right now, i need to get a quick dinner and going to meet up with michael at 10.30pm. i'll probably talk to ah hooi tomoro. bloody server down ruined my evening. you can't really rely on someone talking big to you wearing a suit who knows nuts about your production environment. @#$%^&*
