its 10am now and we are on the way to singapore in ah hooi’s car. we’ll probably reach singapore by night time i.e. at about 8pm. probably just about time for frogs in hot claypot + porridge.
we are staying at hotel 81 in geylang, singapore. geylang is famous for its fresh chicken farms sprouting at every corner of the lanes. ah hooi loved the idea when i told him that we will be staying at the hot district area. there has been a lot of foreign expartriate chickens on business trips to provide more varieties to the already saturated locals and malaysians chickens working for decades.
tomoro, if we are able to wake up before 9am, we’ll be making a trip to swee lee music, at sims drive, fortunately very near from geylang. it’s one of the biggest musical instruments store in singapore and things are priced lower than those in malaysia music stores (as we were told). we are probably more excited to visit swee lee than the gig at nite at the esplanade cause most of us are not feeling in our optimum selves yet. we hope the chickens tonite can motivate us visually.

Unfortunately, Swee Lee had just held their CNY sale a week ago. All the good stuff are sold, but the guitars/basses in “THE GLASS ROOM” should still have plenty.
