good morning everyone. been a while since i last posted here. been kinda busy. anyway, here’s some news of UGLYMEN:

1. UGLYMEN and uncle beh are going down to KL this saturday (10-MARCH-2007) to watch the ASIA GRAND FINAL of YAMAHA ASIAN BEAT BAND COMPETITION. venue is SUNWAY LAGOON. guess what? LIMP BIZKIT wellknown ex-guitarist WES BORLAND is coming to hold clinics and be one of the judges at the finals. let’s support our local heroes OCEANS OF FIRE at the finals.

2. the once a very long time “HOT CHICK OF THE MONTH” is coming to you soon. we know a friend who is HOT and you may think she’s hotter — is going to appear soon. she’s one of our long time friend but hooi and i got to meet up with her when we were in singapore last month. she’s still single, by the way.

3. we may return to singapore in may to perform again as well as in alor setar. we are going to plan to play in some gigs (probably once a month or twice) at northern part of this country so stay tuned for more information.

4. everyone in UGLYMEN is upgrading their instruments, including metal sow. michael got a new guitar, metal sow gonna get a new pickup and i’m gonna upgrade my snare drum parts. the new sound will inspire us to play differently. and i’m extremely excited about michaels’ M1 guitar. by the way, M1 is one of the TELCOs company in singapore.

5. we are writing new stuff and choosing some old cover songs to play. we are just finalising what songs to play and haven’t decided which one to practise. the cover songs are nice tunes but we are too busy to think deep about it.
