Welcome to “HELL - YEAH!”
Date: 29th April 2007
Time: 7.30pm-9.15pm
Venue: Mini Auditorium, Alor Star.
Every mid year (May or June) and year end (October or November), there will be some shows for my students to showcast their talent on stage to the public, this year, it will be held next week on 29th April 2007, Sunday, 7.30pm evening.
I did some major changes for this year’s show, in order to avoid getting too boring for the whole length of programs. Conventionally, students will perform with a back up CD (minus-one tracks) or backed up by a second instrument, for example, a guitar player maybe backed up by a piano accompaniment. However, this year will be crazy and “daring”. Because 8 of the total performances will be jam sessions. There will be a full band to back up the student… without even practise or rehearsing before the show. Come this Sunday, it will be the first time that particular student playing with the band. Yeah, that’s what called jam-session.
I am anticipating some mistakes, abrupt stoppages, and complete havoc, but I think its worth the experience for every student, since playing in a band is the main objective you are learning music here.
For the backing bands, i have invited some very exciting musicians to back up my students, ta dah…
Tai Suan - Drums
Say Hooi - Bass
Chun Wei - Drums
Khim Yun - Vocals
Good Luck everyone.

John, you are nervous? hahaha, that’s the point nervious is natural for first time performers, you should be nervous.
