that is the measurement of my blood pressure that i took just now. i worked in IT line, supporting computer systems for hospitals. and today one of these hospitals go down because of unknown reason. what the f* happened? i dont know. how i solved? i called up basically every friend whom i know… who are technical experts, people who know more than me
. we tried to solve and solve. the whole hospital operation went down for 4 hours. SUCK big time. i got gang-raped and sodomized inside out, left right and center stage by my customers. nice.
i thought my blood pressure gonna hit the roof because i was extremely stressful today and i can’t even complete my work scheduled for today PLUS cancelling an important meeting PLUS delaying my project report to my management. it got me to think, why am i working in the WORLD LAMPHA #1 MOST STRESSFUL JOB? its because of… TONITE, YES, ITS TONITE that i get to release the beast inside me when we rehearse our weekly band practise. YAHOOOO!!!!!

sometimes i’m wondering whether IT support is really what i want to do for the rest of my live.
i hardly see senior people (40+) working actively in IT support. i do see senior people in their 40’s working in IT sales/implementation BUT seldom support.

the part i hate MOST is that — even if you are supporting your users/customers well, in the end they turn back bite you. in cantonese saying “eat rice from a bowl then overturn the bowl”.
