Alor Star: A group of lower secondary students now know the value of teamwork, having just returned from numerous band performances.
Tan Chin Sing, guitarist, who has given up time on spending with his friends doing nothing, is the first to admit that the Uglybo4z culture is really making him a better person.
“When we went on performance, we were exposed to the spirit of comradeship. We practised and worked in a group until we successfully completed the band’s mission,” he said during a band lesson hosted by michael.
Kai Jiun said the team members had practise so hard because of the difficult songs.
“Miraculously, we managed to play some difficult passages, making it possible for us to proceed with our mission to perform liveshows,” he said.
Chin Sing and fellow team members Ng kae Vin, drummer, and Ma Chun Min, guitarist, received thunderous applause when they performed on stage. They were among the many students who joint michael-one music lessons.
Chin Sing, the eldest in the group, said they had pleaded with band coach michael to allow them play more diffcult songs as they promised to practise harder.
“Fortunately, michael was sporting and allowed us to go on with what we liked. We practised hard, and we are glad our hard work paid off . NAMO AMITABHA, the mission was a success,” he said.
Ma Chun Min said they embarked on the adventure for the love music.
Ng Kae Vin said the mission had changed him and he believed he was now a better person.
“Even the leng loi (hot chicks) applauded us for our performance. I want to continue playing bands and hope to do so in Hollywood” he said.
michael said he was proud of the band for believing in what they do.
“They have set a good example and will be giving many other students what a good band and music player one can be. They have shown that it is possible to change for the better as long as we have the determination,” he added.
michael added “I think the lads worked well, learnt tons, and are now smarter, and best of all, they did it just, through music, and need not fly to the North Pole. Eh… did i mention who paid for the North Pole expedition? Well, Uglybo4z paid their own fees…
In some earlier feedbacks, werty and stupid ppl were arguing who is actually gay, the fact is, both ARE. leh… see the photo above as evdident.
