halo folks…. i’m finally back with some post… hope you dont &%%*%*# me for not posting so long… but suan and hooi doing good job to keep the site alive right… hehe…

as our readers knew already, we went to one of the greatest rock party not long ago, and it was at the FEVER.

before i go any further, i want to say a thousand thanks to SLAP and Ah How for their warmest hospitality when we were there… They took care of our meals, stay, tour… ah.. everything.. They are the most wonderful hosts to uglymen… i wished we could have stayed longer.

on our stay there… we put up at John’s place. Comfy, nice, clean and has hot water (haha… i could nvr take a cold bath one…) the place is also in the middle of every where we went i think… no matter is FEVER, meals, SLAP studio, parks, markets…. it seemed very near to the place we stay… hmm… if got the chance to go visit again… i no want stay John place liao… bcos ho… we heard edwin say ho,.,,, leslie house is very big… wahahaha!!

on arrival at airport, Leslie and Edwin were there to kiss hug us, and take us to eat KOLO MEE!
i hate flying… very very hate… want to puke after arriving, only after about 2 hours then can “regain conscious”
the food the first night we took were not bad… i found out the ‘char koay’ to be the most welcomed for to tastebuds…

*kolo mee… look not much different fr here huh?

later, we went to Edwin’s PALS boutique… nice name leh… its SLAP read from behind
we also walked around the night market there…. very lao juak lo….

but ho… i did not even spot one miao also…. haiz… tot can see cats running here and there one ma…

on meeting jackson near his jackson hair design studio:
me: hi, i am michael
jackson: hi, i am jackson..
me to leslie: we are michael jackson…

* rambo’s guitar…cool leh… for unknown reason, we see 80% of handheld instruments there were Ibanez

we jammed a few songs… SLAP requested Love Bubble Tea.. and we also sang Fool…

later at night… eat again… eat eat eat eat…. eh… actually i ordered McDonalds to eat… ah suan say me stupid one, go there eat McDonals…. maybe the McD there not same ma…. We were later joined by RAMBO!! and we tok about uglymen’s 15-year history to the wonderful people Slap, Ah How, their girl friends, brothers, friends… so syok nia lo..

* suan out of words when he was talking about some one… the storyfella had to continue..
we spent almost 2 hours there til 1am when it started drizzling and everyone went back..

2nd day morning 7am… early early ah hooi need to go work liao bcos some problem back in his company… bo pien la, he is the man, he had to solve it. so, while we were still breathing the cool air of cat city, ah hooi carried his lazy ass and went out to work with Leslie liao…

10am, Ah How of Dream Machine came and took us to one of the most famous mee shop in the city.. many people… you have to wait to be seated, while we were eating, there were even 2 or 3 groups of people standing outside waiting to grab the seats lo… verdict about the mee… hmm…. they even have newspaper cutting glued to the wall “the wait is worth in gold”, so…

* let me try out the ‘gold’ after waiting so long… actually ho…. u see the mee so much inside the bowl… the extra mee is from silver and yuna one… bcos they couldnt finish it…
the mee was served with mixture of intestines, so i just took the mee and no eat the ingredients la…. ekk… not nice one… soli lo… i really no like ma…

* Ah How was the most humble and friendly during our stay lo…
about the mee… nonetheless… ah suan says the mee is ichibang bang bang bang…. u see his bowl of mee full until drop out liao.

After the meal, Ah How took us to the street market? duno call wat… but many things to buy, i bought some souvenirs, sands, grass, wood… We also went to Ah How’s shop to buy even more things…. i also bought a ….. banana there, ah hooi say is nice, bcos it reminds him of something…

3pm… to FEVER for sound check…

the venue looked very nice… Dyerbreed were soundchecking at that time, after we checked, SLAP and Visualies also hooked up the session.

*Rambo soundcheck ah suan also want to kacao…

well… times up, til then, stay cool, i will post Part II “The Show” in a few days time… pai pai with a jump…
