I can understand and sense that many of the ppl will get/take a while to used to d “new” GNR that’s without Slash and all other old guns;
I watched 06, and 07’s live; new or classic GNR songs with this new line up; I felt that it’s a bit strange to watch those claassic that’s without slash, izzy and other guns on…. I also “kinda” agree with your point saying that GNR is not GNR anymore;
BUT after i listen to these new songs; specially “BETTER”; I realise that axl is a true musician that have to pay some respect to…
after these years, Axl had break up with slash and other Guns; he still manage stand still and move on, to do what he likes to do, the rock&roll.
If we all expect GNR will write something like 20 years ago what they had written at their peak time(repeating the same musical vocabularies again and again); and GNR is not different than those garbage bands; one hit wonder, come and gone juz like the wind(trend).
Listen to “BETTER” it has great texture, melody and great structure in MUSIC; that’s what I call revolution; A great band, a great musician should be always changing and keep the rock rolling and roll out “new” Music. A great band make history, A great band brings in Revolution;
I totally cannot wait this long waited album to be out!!!

the new songs are good beh, just i think one thing, axl still have the balls to use the name “Guns n Roses”… he messed up the whole band and now he is the only remaining member. he should change the band name… to “Ego n Kiasu”
his ego killed the band long ago, the current gnr songs are good, but personally i no like axl liao…
