The Family!!! I love them all!!!
This was given by my sister-in-law while I was in the States in 1995 as a gift!!!
This was I bought in 1995 at Great Salt Lake Guitar inc, when I was there!!! I remember when first I look at the guitar, I said to myself I m gonna bring it home one day!!! I worked part-time, and save up the money and bring it home with me after a year or so!!! This is my first high range electric guitar!!! after another year, I changed the pickups to EMGs…due to Metallica’s influences!!!
In 1996, I save up enough money, I actually want to buy Gibson LesPaul Classic Premium at the same shop I bought my ibanez(above)….but when I was there that time, the shop owner sold the guitar, instead I look at this beauty…the price almost the same as the LesPaul classic premium plus!!!so I decided to take in this guitar and bring it home with me… I discover its round neck after I brought it home with me; I put it in the case and seldom play it….this is collector’s item to me…till now it still with me…
I exchange my ovation (white color one) to this beauty at the same shop I got my ibanez and LesPaul!!! I got this guitar becoz’ of WongKaKui!!! I saw him play this guitar in the live 1991!!!! SO again, I save up money and bring this beauty home as well in 1997!!!! when 1998, I was back to malaysia, I brought this guitar with me. during beyond live at malaysia 1999 if not mistaken, I brought this guitar and have three of them autograhp!!! since then, this guitar never been played…its another collector item for me!!!
In year 2000, I have enough saving..so I search for what kind of guitar I want to buy; by luck I met this guy who wants to let go his KH-2 Vintage; so I grab this chance and buy this guitar thru Ebay, I put all my saving to this guy that I never meet before; I was very worry that after he clear the money order and won’t send me the guitar!!! but luckily I met a good guy, he did sent me the guitar!!! This is the most expensive guitar that I brought in my collection!!! it came with two Certificates..1 signed by kirk himselt and another 1 was printed out the signs… the serial no is 009….later I found out ESP going to mess production this guitar and name “kh2 skully”…. with different serial no…I feel kinda got cheated by ESP…since then I told myself no to buy artist series guitars, they are over price!!!
This guitar I got it from Uglymen’s mikey!!! my guitar teacher, my buddy!!! Mike always change his guitars like changing baju, seldom have a guitar tat can sastify him, hopefully M1 can stay with him forever; I got a very good deal from him!!! I bought from him at 2004!!!(correct??) This guitar also have 3 EMGs 2 single coils and an hambucker with it!!!
I always want to have a tailor made guitar with single coils…finally, mike told me one of his student want to let go his fender strat Mexico….I imediately buy this guitar from his student and take about six months’ saving to save the money from the guitar parts and the pickups things…this guitar got killer tone, i love it so very much!!! I got this guitar with me at 2008!!!! I must thanks Mike and Suan for this guitar!!! Without any of them, this guitar won’t existing..and with me now..Thanks Mike and Angkong Suan!!!
This fender american stratocaster ash deluxe, when I brought my fender guitar to the guitar shop’s time; one of my friend told me that the shop got this baby!!! At malaysia its extream hard to came across this deal, even this guitar cost me alot, pain for my pocket but still I go for it!!! and I didn’t regret after I got it..this guitar is in show room condition, juz the owner want to go back to his country and wants to let go this baby!!! So, I brought this guitar home with me when I put my mexico strat it that shop at 2008 June…And that friend is our angkong Suan, he poison me!!! Anyhow, I have to thanks SUAN for helping me, guiding me and giving me a lot of advices in guitars, and life stuff….thanks SUAN!!!
now I am broke!!! I am sharing this to all the friends here…each of my guitar got a story behind!!! and I work hard earn the money and buy them!!!! the 8 guitars not coming easily!!!! I love them all!!!
that’s me and my guitars…I am not a pro-guitarist but a guitar collector, I will keep my collection growing..and will update if got any new guitar comes into my collection!!!

u have so many babes beh…. i personally like your KH and the headless a lot and also Ovation… but…
after i got M1, it changed almost my whole mind set about guitar. all this while (eh i mean over 15 years) since i got my first guitar back about 15 years ago, i used to look for design, colour, shape, brand, outlook, finishing…
then since i got M1, i only understand (ok, i am stupid, it took me so long to understand), after getting M1, i dun care about colour, shape, brand or finishing any more… all i want is, it FITs 100% to my fingers, easy to play, make my playing effortless and produce the tone i want.
if an SX guitar is good enuf to be bought for modification, i might go for it too, but…eh… M1 is the best…
by the way, many students and friends ask me why like M1 so much, here are some feedback from other guitarist who has played M1:
Suan: i cant play M1, the fret wire too thin and neck too small for me
Min (De Xtreme guitarist): the feeling is not right for me, the tone not garang enuf
Seng: very light, but not explosive la, no humbucker feel one…
see… so it fits me but not certainly fitting others, that’s why we need to build custom guitars to suit us… some times (in flamnego) where i play guitar, i used ah min guitar (i dont bring M1) i feel weird weird one some times, bcos so used to M1 already loh…..
i would never buy another guitar except an acoustic ovation….
ok ok….. i retract my above statement, just in case i buy one again….. heh heh….
p/s: i really pei fu your jing shen beh… work hard, save and buy the things you like…. you are a real music and guitar lover…. its been really lucky to know you!

I m sharing with you….Guitar juz like human, each of my guitar got its temper, sytle, feeling, characteristic…
they are different….totally different….
I hope you can keep your m1 with you at the same time if you come across good guitars, please dun sell them…..
in your life as I know of, you had sold at least two or three of the guitars that is good one…
1) Fender Strat, red one if not mistaken…long long time ago….
2)Your Ibanez slim body one juz like mine….
3)Headless…now with me…
its like when you want to goreng char koay teow, then you use your ibanez; if you want to cook great soup then you need your m1……dunno describe it in the correct way or not….or you understand??
dun like get one then play for awhile, then sell then get another one….juz like in the past what you had done…

nice nice nice collection. i tried to “like” other guitars but i can’t. i just feel that the fender strat guitar that i have right now is the one for me.
however, previously, i used to own one kapok guitar which has a thick neck. the feel was extremely great but i lost the guitar already… i not sure i lend to whom.
the most important aspect of a guitar is its neck.

flea… the guitar you say is Gibson SG, i called it tua thao lan…,bcos the guitar head is heavier than the body… if u hang the guitar on your shouder and let go the guitar head, it will fall down to the left… i think ah beh maybe like this too bcos beyond ah paul got one time use that guitar too during 1996 era….
les paul looks classier though…

yes, it called Gibson SG…. I hold it before…it’s very comfortable and sounds great!!!
SG also got various of model, that one with Angus Young name on it..very expensive!!!!
I dun think I can affort in buying it…
I am thinking to make another fender that with Kinman’s pickUps… have to wait…now broke already!!!

back to your question, the KH-2 Vin I spent about rm15k for it… only the shipping cost about 1k already…ship from US to Malaysia by FedEx…
No need to jealous, you also can have my kind of collection, juz work hard, stay focus….if you want it, make it happen by work hard, earn more money and get d axe that you like home from your hard earn money….When you look at them, it’s like you had won something in your lifetime and you feel good by look at them…..
My collections are taking 13years start from way back at 1995 till today….I was not born in rich family and buy all those guitar in one short…I collection them one by one and one at a time…
I will keep on collect guitar, my advisor mr.angkong suan recomanded me PRS….
If you ask me about PRS; last time I had tried PRS before… if you compare the sounds, feeling with Gibson Les Paul, my personal liking…I prefer PRS more than Gibson Les Paul…Last time, I was trying out Les Paul Standard vs with PRS Standard 22…PRS stand out better in better tone, more comfort with the neck….and etc etc..
I dunno when I can affort to buy a PRS but will give it a try….Now I want to get a nice amp and practice hard!!! in order to jam with uglymen one day!!!

what beh said was true. if u *WANT* something badly, u gotta work hard for it. no one can help u, even god also cannot help u if u dont work hard. if u want to strike lottery and 4D, u have to work hard and buy it every time at every opportunity and not miss any betting schedules. everything is hard work.
