i got a little excited for the past few days, just a little la… reason is simple.
i played with uglymen.
9th aug saturday jammed with metal and leow
11th aug monday (just now) jammed with suan and leow
especially with suan, the last time i performed with him was 27th Jan 2008… it was nice, and simple, and i also enjoyed playing bass.
BOo BOo also was there at flamingo with us…..
i miss uglymen….

It has been long time, I think the time long till I forget when was the last time I watched uglym4n perform!!! The DOUBLE lead!!! THE JOKEs!!! And, with Suan’s new guitar tone plus Mike’s I think it was a blast!!! KILLER combination!!!
Suan got the best CLEAN Where Mike got the POWERFUL yet not dirty tone, these two added UP I dunno what would sound like!!!! I juz wonder!!! and forgot to mention about Metal’s new pickUp with his Fender bass!!!
I really cannot imagine now; Suan’s SUPERB cystal CLEAR + Mike’s POWERFUL CLEAN tone in guitar + Metal blasting Bass TONE with Pie Kia Leow’s DRUM stroke and kick butt bass = ????????? what sound will be generating man???? How far can uglym4n goes???? I cannot imagine…….
From changing drummer, switching 4 to 3; again changing drummer, switching 3 back to 4;
For me, this line up with these set up with the current gears(up grade in gears); its the best of the best in Uglym4n!!!
I want you guys make no mistake, Suan or Mike if you need anything juz let me know..I juz bought Marshall 100 Watt amp; and its ready for you guys for 31st Aug gig if you guys need the amp; the amp still in box not yet being play, still fresh and ready to go…if you guys need it for the up coming gig please let me know…I can lend it to you guys for this up coming gig!!!!

the way we jammed were not good, as i also not played guitar with ugm long ago, but playing keyboard for flamingo band.

Well, everyone in the forum wants the best, and expect the best from uglymen. I notice that lately, posting has been minimal from all band members due to work load ( i assume).
Also,I will “assume” that applies to their their practises too…
- practise makes perfect…! with minimal practise, would you forsee a good performance? i doubt so…. but being a tight knitted members , they will pull out another “nice” performance. Having mikey n suan on the axe added more dimension n to sway the audience from listening to their mistakes .
So, do expect mistakes, but they know how to patch it! do expect bad performance too…. n last but not least.. do expect that mikey might now show up ;p
p/s I’m not here to critise your post.
They are afterall “manusia”… they make mistakes… !
As for uglymen, it would be fair if you would add in the drummer portfolio. Please tie a name to a face. As of now, all we can see is 3 of UGLYM3N. Not ULGYM4N. He ought to be credited as well!
