i guess no one is checking this website anymore since most of us are actively using facebook.

anyway, nothing much has happened to uglymen. our last gig was during chinese new year in alor setar and we have been kinda inactive for a while.

lewis is doing well with his business and i think it's gonna pick up slowly and doing very well eventually. lewis is offering great tattooing service at a bargaining price.

michael has been facing some personal problems lately and i think he's going through it now and will be stronger nevertheless. he has good determination and in no time, he'll be up on his three legs doing wonders. you donno he got three legs meh? hehehe… one of the legs is special…

hooi and i have been working on some side business. we didn't do well (lost some inve$tment$) but we vowed to strive through it. work has been busy and we rarely had band practise due to my constant traveling. i travel every alternate week and its taxing to my health and stole my time from my family. and i dislike traveling very much. my performance at work deteriorating… its sad. can say that its my fault and weakness in making people happy. let's not talk about that, shall we?

so, what's ahead of our band? michael has written some new songs and planning to record them. as for now… we gotta practise more frequent to get the band going. uglymen nowadays is very good at writing and speaking and promising… hehehe… we are not even sure when we will come out with 2nd album.

hmmm… in fact, we haven't performed for months already…

actually, i'm working on something hoping that eventually i will have MORE time with my family and band. it will be painful right now but its my dream to make it through. this *thing* that i'm working on has made me EXTREMELY FOCUS which requires me to sacrifice a lot of things for this short term period, maybe 3 to 6 months. once i succeed in getting this done, i am a FREE person. the passion and determination to SUCCEED is the same as when our band was at our peak during 2004-2006(4 piece) and 2007-2009(3 piece). i'm very DETERMINED and WILL ENSURE that i achieve it. i just need everyone's blessing.

it comes to a point in your life that you will evaluate the things that you do and why you do it. the band is our GREAT priority, even though we may not have the luxury and time to do it FULLTIME. i hope my band brothers lewis, ah hooi and michael achieve success in things that they do so that they can have more time with the band. we are closely knit, the kind of bond that is usually closer than family members. uglymen family members are cool but i'm saying it in general context.

its still far from over and the journey has just begun. the destination is still a long way to go. i probably have myself to blame for writing so much crap about my grandpa in facebook. no time to update about our band here… hehehe…
